Adventures Of Angry Pixel 002
Posted by Mr. Pulsar on July 23, 2008, 02:48 EST
The second in the Angry Pixel series, brought to you again by the lovely Boltstriker. I think Morr got in a car crash, in the ocean, while driving a forklift. It's a really long story, but he was bass fishing.

Oh and remember, the Fan Meet was delayed to August 16th, same time. Check the steam group. Note also there is an IRC room if you'd like to join, it's on Gamesurge. It's just #TGSA.

On a closing statement, I'd like to say my right nipple kind of hurts.

TGSA Fan Meet Delayed
Posted by Mr. Pulsar on July 20, 2008, 01:24 EST
Alright well, it appears I'll be in Dallas on August 9th, so the TGSA fan meet in Seattle has been delayed to August 16th. Make a note of that if you were planning to go.

Also, thanks again to Boltstriker for her comic. This is the second time she's helped out with TGSA.

Oh and uh, I want Harmonix inside me.

Great news everybody!

Because there is always the slight chance that you, the dear reader, did not wander upon the greatest thing on the internet prior to visiting this page; I feel it is my duty to make sure you have the possibility to... wander upon... this um...

I don't like to write things.

Some readers asked us to set up a forum. We politely refused.

See forums can be fun if they are filled with interesting topics and conversations with like-minded inviduals.

When you have a forum with no central theme (such as radnom webcomic forum) people tend to turn into complete morons. Every single thread de-rails after the very first post and nothing ever comes out of it.

Very quickly whoever started a forum like this finds themselves having to babysit random people from the internet who think talking about SOME FUCKING COOKIES IN EVERY FUCKING THREAD FOR A FUCKING MILLIONTH THIME FLjsdkglasfh-.nvc.

Ok I wont get into it, but trust me when I say we're better off without a forum.

So, big news post.

Details on the next TGSA fan outing.

When: Saturday, August 9th

What time: 4PM

Where: Meet at Gameworks, downtown Seattle (check google maps, if you can't find it, email me) We'll meet outside the restaurant entrance, not the side entrance that goes directly to the arcade. Oh and, bring money for the arcade and bus if you want to participate in the dinner and playing around. We'll go to a restaurant (probably not at gameworks), and then see what everyone wants to do from there.

How long: Could be anywhere from 2-6 hours

Other TGSA things that have happened recently:

We made an IRC channel on Gamesurge. The channel is #TGSA.

We made a group on steam. Here is a link to it.

Oh and Morr finally fixed Blastwave, but you probably knew that. Big thanks to everyone that sends me emails. It is always awesome to hear feedback on the comic and it really helps out. So again, thank you all.

Post-meet/New Song
Posted by Mr. Pulsar on July 9, 2008, 23:00 EST
Big thanks to everyone that attended the fan meet. It was more than I thought would show, so I'm thankful.

The next fan meet will be on August 9th, just so you guys have a lot more planning time. I'll post more details on Sunday with the new comic.

Also, I forgot to put my new song on my iPod, so, I'll just post it here.

Here's a link to it. Enjoy!

Yes, we talked about an IRC channel a while ago. I said no.

Gmod comics got old about half way through concerned, please don't make them.

IRC Channel

So Morr and I talked about an IRC channel in the past.

Yeah, I went ahead and made one on Gamesurge. #TGSA

I'm lonely here. :(

- Mr. Pulsar
Yeah, that is uh.... yep.

I personally think Garry's Mod comics are an abomination.... now don't get me wrong, Concerned was good. But then you had sites like PHWOnline that would be posting 20+ panel long Gmod comics about cocks.

Garry's Mod was a noble idea. It could potentially allow people to express themselves limitlessly with a video game engine. But the bad thing is, you had kids with little knowledge of grammar or punctuation going in and making half assed comics. I refer to these as the stick figure art of Gmod comics.

But as I stated, when done correctly, there can be nice results. I think Morr has a bit varied opinion than mine, so, if he wants to he can share it.

Now about the Fan Meet, remember, it's at Gameworks today (June 9th) in Seattle. The address is:

1511 7th Ave
Seattle, WA 98101

It'll start at 5:30PM, and we'll be meeting outside in front of the grill there, not the other entrance that goes directly to the arcade. Look at the other post for the ground rules I set up.

I apologize for this being on such short notice. I'll try to do one of these every month, and the next one is totally going to be a meet up at a sushi restaurant. >_>

So, to the 3-4 people that are going to be there, I look forward to meeting you!

About the meet up!
Posted by Mr. Pulsar on July 7, 2008, 19:49 EST
Oh uh, also, the meet up place.... er.... >_>

I guess right outside the front of it. The restaurant entrance one.

I really don't expect more than a couple people to show up, but hey. Why not?

TGSA Fan Meet In Seattle!
Posted by Mr. Pulsar on July 6, 2008, 05:55 EST
The comic is still small, I'm still a weird guy you've never heard of all up in your internet tubes, but hey, I've talked to 5-6 people and they seemed interested in doing it.

So........ this Wednesday, July 9th, we'll have a TGSA fan meet. It'll start at 5-6PM at Gameworks in Seattle. The address for that place is:

1511 7th Ave
Seattle, WA 98101

But I have one request, if you're going to show up, email me and tell me so I can know how many people are going. My email is in the info section, so yeah, there you go.

Also, since I'm still new to all this and really don't know much about this sort of thing, I'd like to play it somewhat safe. Being respectful, I ask that no one tries to give me ideas for TGSA, or squeeze ideas we're saving out of me. Basically the whole idea is to have a bit of fun. I'm new to Seattle, and want to meet people.

Wednesday is a weird day to do a fan meet, so if I get enough emails from people demanding a Friday or Saturday night, I'm all for it. Let's just see what happens.

Oh also, if anyone that goes liked me album, I'll have my iPod with me, and some demos of songs I'm working on, and another song I've finished. So if you want, you can hear it.

On the subject of today's comic:

I remember a certain conversation Morr and I had, this is only a paraphrase, but...

Mr. Pulsar: "So, no gaming comics, right?"
Morr: "Oh, of course not."
Mr. Pulsar: "Alright, cool. Because its been done so much in the past."
Morr: "Yeah."

I'd like to say... shit.

Of course, we're big gamers, so I think it's kind of hard for us to do a comic without including a bit of ourselves in it. So it was probably only a matter of time before we dropped a video game reference. But when I write it, I'm trying to keep it pretty general, and not necessarily hardcore. TGSA is the foundation for our random ideas.

Teh Girl.

Zero Punctuation on Webcomics. I feel like I have to warn you about harsh language.

I'd like to think this isn't a gaming comic, but it is, isn't it?

I asked a friend to draw a girl character for us. This is what she came up with:

Also, I obviously wont be at anykind of a fan meet. It would cost a bit too much.
