The Spore Creature Creators demo sort of leaked yesterday.
That's right. A demo for the demo of Spore.
Instantly the internet was flooded of pictures and videos of various penis monsters.
I'm waiting for the complete collection of pokemons.

So I caved in and bought Conan. Not sure what I think of it yet, haven't had a lot of time to really play it. You definitely can't be lazy in it, due to the real-time engine. I was used to just clicking a mob in WoW and sipping tea while I casually did a move now and then.
But really, no complaints there, MMOs need more real-time engines. Although, the whole DPS thing kind of makes it feel like it doesn't really matter, but I'll play it a bit more and see how I really get to enjoy it.
On a side note, I'm sure a bit of you are aware the Spore system specs were revealed a bit ago. No surprise entirely, but definitely relieved by them. My computers hardware is getting a bit out dated and I'm gonna need to get a new mobo, which will require me to rebuild everything from scratch. Fucking pre-built computers anyway. >_>
Also, yay! Billy Mitchell!

This is news worthy.

Added new Voting gift.
edit: Yeahh! we beat that stupid blastwave comic on buzzcomix
Posted by Morr on June 10, 2008, 16:54 EST
We were gonna update on wednesday. But I seriously thought it was still monday right now, so I have nothing finished.
So this is my "Oh no the comic is gonna belate! Don't panic!" -post.
Doubt anyone really cares, but what the hell.
I'm going to sleep.

Great city, and there is a great supply of hot asian girls everywhere! :D
The design above is pretty neat, but as Morr stated, we're not trying to cash in with TGSA at the moment. But if you really want you can pay whatever the hell that place is charging and get one.
It's amazing how much I've seen in this one week here in Seattle compared to the secluded little high desert town I lived in during my time in Oregon. Mainly, the treasure so far has been the Pocky and Hello Panda I got from the international district. Yummy!
Also, Age of Conan, yup. I really wanna get it. It sucks that there's no trial running for it. :(

I was wasting time with Blastwave so here's a random thing I did a while back!
It's a t-shirt.
You can actually buy one from here.
That... was uploaded there mostly as a test on how that thing works. We're not seriously trying to cash in with TGSA (yet).
It's ridiculously expensive but if you want, you can get one : D

Seattle + New Guitar Hero Games
Posted by Mr. Pulsar on June 1, 2008, 00:00 EST
Packed up all my stuff and I'm moving off to Seattle.
Last week, the trailers for the new Guitar Hero games "Guitar Hero: On Tour" and "Guitar Hero: World Tour" appeared.
I'm actually really shocked by the DS trailer. How could they do that so bad? >______>
As For Guitar Hero: World Tour. Yeah, I really don't know. I want to be excited about it, but it seems like the only thing they have going for it right now are the drums. What a lot of people are hoping is that the whole peripheral thing doesn't get out of hand. Aside from the money that it would take to buy new peripherals each year, the drums themselves take a lot of space, and I have 5 guitar controllers at the moment. Two SGs, two X-Plorers, and a Les Paul.
But hey, its supposedly going to have Dream Theater, soooo yeah. I'm sold. :D

Here's a random video of me playing Rock Band! This is probably my biggest achievement in the game to date. Bringing my overall ranking to 19th place!
Back from Albuquerque.

I actually am a huge fan of Lost. Can't wait for the Season finale this week. I got second at the tournament, lost to PriestMLH. Great guy.
I'm moving to Seattle on Sunday so I'm going to be hella busy until then. One shitty thing is I got a cold on my way back so I'm trying to get through that. >_<

Lost + Penny Arcade Game
Posted by Morr on May 25, 2008, 01:00 EST
I watched 2 seasons of Lost and then lost interest because it didn't look like it was going anywhere. I'm waiting for it to end, and then if someone says it was all worth it, I'll get the dvd's.
The Penny Arcade game is fun. Needs more character customization, maybe just a bit more polish, but fun. The dialogue is not always funny, but I would describe it "constantly amusing".
Being able to trap Mimes with invisible boxes? Hahaha
Holy Christ, Morr + Albuquerque Trip.

My god you went all out. :P
The benefits of timezones are awesome! I think its like a 10 hour difference for us. :D
I saw a couple things on Kotaku I wanted to mention.
First was the bioshock-esque water colony. Scheduled to launch the first prototype in to the San Fransisco bay in about 2 years. Wow, thats all I have to say. Although it looks nothing like Rapture, appears the housing is above the water. Man that would suck to get caught in the middle of a storm with.
Also, Ken Levine to speak at PAX08 this year, woot!
I'm heading off for my trip to Albuquerque for the NVGA Super-Con in about 9 hours. It'll be fun and I'll enter a couple tournaments while I'm at it. So, wish me luck, hopefully I come back with something, although I hear the competition will be rough.
Have fun updating the RSS yourself on Sunday, Morr. :D
I'll be back Tuesday, May 27th.

I didn't tell Pulsar I was doing this! Bastard was asleep.
Artsy dream comics! I am so deep! I might be doing these from time to time since they let me mess around with these weird styles. And it's fun.
Here's my interpretation:
Panel 1: I'm sensing a Harry Potter reference.
Panel 2: You know that movie Dark City? Reminds me of it.
Panel 3: I really have no idea.
Appologies to Advertisers.

Morr had added the Project Wonderful ad and I had forgotten that I had the email set to an email account I rarely use. So, as a result, a bit of your ads were expired due to my stupidity. >_<!
Sorry about that, I got the email set to one I can check easily everyday now so if you'd like, go ahead and re-submit your ad.
My most sincere apologies! If your ad goes unnoticed, feel free to email me if you don't hear a response on project wonderful. Email is on the info page.

Happy Birthday... to Myself.
Posted by Mr. Pulsar on May 18, 2008, 01:53 EST
Birthdays are always fun. :D
I had something I wanted to mention but I forgot what it was.
Ah yes, there is a vote button on the page now next to the Picture of the Moment. If you'd like to vote, feel free!
In other news, I'm gonna be gone from the 21st to the 27th. There's a tournament for Guitar Hero 3 and Rock Band during this Expo in Albuquerque, so I'm flying down to hang out with some friends and compete. I know this is probably dumb to ask, but if there's any readers that plan to attend the NVGA Expo, or just live in Albuquerque, feel free to email me if you'd like to meet up. Email is listed on the info page.
Still getting used to the RSS feed, its pretty easy to update though so thats nice.
Moving to Seattle on June 1st as well, pretty excited about that. Oh well, I'm off. Enjoy the comic. :)
